I usually get clothes or gift cards from my mom, but she really outdid herself with her gifts to my brother and I this year. Both sides of my family are from the Lubbock area going back over 100 years, so she got us a gift that embraced my love of history and love of guns. She bought us the Lubbock Heritage .30-.30s. They are Mossberg guns that are engraved by a company called American Legacy Firearms out of Fort Collins, CO. They only made 100 of this particular gun and my mother got us the numbers that coincided with our birth years (76 and 80).

I have no idea of it's value, but don't care because I plan to keep it until it is time to pass it on to one of my kids. I would have never bought something like this for myself because I am very practical, but I will cherish the gift from my mom.
