Man, Ruger needs to get their crap together. First the SR9 (which I really liked) and now the second recall on this, which I also like. Too bad.

Pilot I'm sorry to say but yes. They put a little diamond mark on the gun once it has been serviced, but you do get a free mag with finger ext for your trouble.

other than thr recall is this a good shooting pull the trigger and it fires gun im thinkin about getting one for cc

anyone with an LCP, should trade it for a kel tec and save themselves the hassle of an unproven weapon.

How many times has this pistol been recalled? I am a big fan of ruger but they may have missed the mark with this one.

Got mine done on the first recall and they sent a free mag and a nice ballcap back, im satisfied with mine.

I shot an LCP at the range today.Small with a horrendous trigger pull.Bersa CC is the way to go. Kix

Got mine post recall and I am very happy with it. I have been carrying it on my ankle for about 6 months and forget sometimes that it's there.
It's not something you buy for everyday use, but only when you need it. Works very well for what it was intended for. A very small auto with decent power for it's size.
Until open carry is permitted in Texas, I'll stick with it.

I got my LCP last January just prior to the only recall I am aware of, sent it in, got the mag and ball cap, and have had no problems with it to date. Also, my LCP has shot every round (hp & fmj) I have put through it unlike my friend's Keltec.

Dont get a bersa, that thing is imported Brazilian junk. They fail way to much. Get a wheel gun and dont worry about nothin.
And besides... how many people were dropping loaded guns find out that they were going off? remind me not to be around those folks.

These "recalls" are not always because something is wrong with the weapon..I talked to a guy about the LCP trigger recall...He said they dropped a 100 from 30 feet in the air and got one to fire so they had to recall it and change the trigger. I work with three men who all have LCPs pre recall and love them and wont send them in. I have felt the trigger pull on a post recall LCP and it is very heavy now.

I've had mine for 3 years now with no issues. Yes I sent it in for the recall, they sent it back with an extra mag and a hat. I love the LCP and would buy another one in a heart beat. Doug
