Corn & diesel... May churn out a 6x6 blind before Nov gets here but that won't cost much.

I've got a pair of Lacrosse boots that are great for cold weather and I've had them since the 90s. Just wash the mud off and store them out of the sun.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

Some people prefer buying the gear earlier, during the summer, when they can prepare for the hunting season without any pressure.

Built a jacked-up golf cart for the ranch and hunting this past off-season. That has my fun money tied up for the next couple years.

My next gear purchase down the road will be a quality spotting scope.

I don't think of it as big hunting purchases, I think of it more as therapeutic sessions...

Some people spend money on shrinks, I spend my money so I don't have to see a shrink cheers

I've decided to invest in a good pair of insulated rubber knee boots, with either Muck or LaCrosse being on my short list right now.

Had both boots...Lacrosse was better in warmer weather and not as bulky ..but the Mucks will outlast them by far and are great in cold weather...you will like either... I get muck now since wetlands are only $85

Thanks for the feedback Navasot.

Will they keep my toes warm in 20 degree weather?

They will make um sweat

Hunting is the best therapy I know.

I'm on the other side of the equation. A significant portion of this year's lease money will go for additional protein feeders, road and camphouse improvements and restocking the catfish ponds now that we have water.

Crossbow and feeder. Found both fairly cheap.

Wanted to get a 4-wheeler. That turned into a Polaris. Then I thought why not get a good used jeep. Salesman must have seen me coming, cause this what I ended up with. Lol
