I think they should reduce the range qualification to 20 rounds at seven yards.

I think they should reduce the range qualification to 20 rounds at seven yards. I know one thing. If every CHL "student" that pointed their gun at another student while at the range was disqualified from getting a CHL there probably wouldn't be half the licenses issued.

Lol...we had someone in our class several years ago that said there gun wouldn't fire during the shooting portion of the class. Instructor looked at her gun and she managed to load the rounds in the magazine backwards. Crazy thing was they still let her qualify.

She must of worked awful hard at it...

I'm totally confused about what I need to do for renewal in November. And that was before the law changed. Part of my confusion stems from the wording in the renewal letter I received. CHL-100 (proof of Continuing Education course completion) is required for 1st and 2nd time renewals. After the 2nd renewal, applicants must complete a Continuing Education course once every 10 years (GC§411.185). Applicants do not have to take a course for their third consecutive renewal if a course was completed on the previous renewal.
First, how am I supposed to know what renewal I am about to complete? Second "10 years from what event? The 2nd renewal?" Again, how am I supposed to know what number my last renewal was?. Some help please!
