Yesterday she brought me over a wonderful dish. I made a meal out of it. There's no recipe. I'm sure you could use your venison sausage.

It was pan fried potatoes, with onions, bell peppers, and Polish sausage. Pan fried potatoes is one of my old standbys for new potatoes. I plan to make it again next week. I think I'll throw in some yellow squash. Maybe make a fresh garden salad if my tomatoes are in.

Mr. Oxner sure sounds great to me.....we love new taters...we cook them with onions, squash and peppers in a steamer sometimes....your onions look about ready to pull sir....I am hungry now....

For quicker panfried taters, use taters that you have first microwaved to doneness, then refrigerated overnight....slice thinly and fry. They will fry quicker, and have a nice texture.

You are making me hungry. I put on a 6# pork roast to slow cook for pulled port sandwiches tomorrow. Looks like I got to get me new potatoes to go along with pork roast.

I was hoping the word Onion would be mentioned!

Sunday is steak night for me, but it does not always have to be a baked potato and salad. I plan to fry these up for dinner tonight, and add some fully cooked sausage to my leftovers for another dinner next week.

Sounds delicious....just had steaks, mushrooms, and new potatoes au gratin myself last night....nothing like cheese and butter on sliced potato!!!

Had some last 'nite. Carried some to a Bud.

Just finished mine. I had it with a tenderloin steak. I don't know which was best. It was one of the top 5 vegetable dishes I've ever had. I still have a little sting in my mouth.

Have you ever sat at the dinner table alone and said to yourself out loud, "This is really good." I made the dish again tonight. I added zucchini, and yellow squash. My daughter is in Austin for the weekend. I can't wait for her to get back home and help me with the leftovers.

Need "after" pics, not "before" pics. Show me the cooked steak, not the cow!
