In our case it would be to boycott a Texan with large land holdings in CO.... that makes a ton of sense. I guess we could quit going and it affect how much money eventually gets spent in the DFW area.

For your reading pleasure... Top 100 Colorado Based Companies
Here's a short list of Colorado based companies that may hit close to home. These are in the top 50 revenue generators.

Dish Network
Coors Brewing Co and affiliates (including Keystone)
Chipotle Mexican Grill
EchoStar (satellite TV recievers)
Crocs branded shoes
Red Robin Burgers

Question - how many of you "boycotters" are going to give up your satellite TV and Keystone? popcorn

I gave up Keystone when I quit going to College Station. I've switched to DirecTV...who needs chipotle when there's Freebirds. I ain't giving up my crocs and could go all my life without eating at Red Robin. There you have it! grin

Used to hunt there. Wife and I debated whether or not to retire to Colorado or Arizona in a couple of years. It won't be Colorado.

If you really want to play this game better add all companies from California, New York, Illinois, and a bunch of smaller east coast states to your list.

Well Dallas county is democratic too. I guess they're out too. AT&T, Exxon Mobile, JC Penney, Texas Instruments, etc.,etc.,etc.....

Dang sticking to all these principles is hard. grin

The hard parts of this are the hunting guys who are trying to vote in more conservative people. Dallas is getting more anti everything each day, so do we concede the major Texas cities? Support those who you feel support you. With no gun people in Colorado who will be left to lead the fight?
BTW it's easy to see how these governments are going. When the redefine words like "marriage" and "drugs" the word "rights" is next on the list.

Live right. Do right. Demand the same in others.
Screw off. Lie and cheat. Have no regard for the actions of others.

This has definitely turned into a funny thread! Thanks for the laughs guys.

On a more serious note, I think if we change the way we hunt in the state of Colorado we are giving the Liberals exactly what they want.

If we boycott hunting there and/or using outfitters etc... they have easily defeated us with this legislation. If anything we should hunt there more than we ever have to let them know we aren't going anywhere and we are going to continue to enjoy our freedom.

I guess Ft. Worth isn't major enough.

They will probably blame it on George Bush!

Pitch you nailed it! Do not punish the true Americans there! Find ways to hurt the pocket book of the companies & politicians that are taking our rights & freedoms away!!!

Gun based boycotts of non-gun companies have never resulted in a successful impact where the entity has changed its position in a manner positive to gun ownership. There is no indication that this one will be any more successful and no reason to believe it could be.
