To the people in the houses on the river here, I just found out your out of the city limits and there ate lots of birds on the little island across from your houses. Just a warning that you will be woken up at about 6:55 tomorrow. Please don't come out and yell at me because I've already called to check if I was legal.

How many yards from the house are ya?

I love spots like that, a lot of my hunting this year has been about 120 yds from a racetrac

The houses are probably 75 yards from the water, and ill be maybe another 75 or 100 yards up river from that. If I really wanted to be on the x I'd have to set up right behind their house but I reall don't want any confrontations.

Even if you don't have to, have you thought about contacting them, just to let them know? I did that this year dove hunting, knocked on the neighbors door and told him I'd be hunting the field next to his house-just a heads. His reply was why hunt over there? I got way more birds by my stock tank the combo is _ _ _ _.

Notin worse than gettin the wrong combo in a frozen 25 degree mornin in the dark

I make sure I'm legal, I make sure my shots are low and not leaving the river plane, and I've already asked the gw, as long as I'm out of the city limit I'm perfectly fine she said. And I have to be anchored or on an island, which that I already knew. I actually try and get birds to land just so I can water swat them to make sure I'm not shooting into private property

Don't shoot my ducks...I've been feeding them up and down the river for months.

Distance regs only apply usually on lakes like Corps or BRA types situations. Rivers is a free for all on distance from dwellings as I have been told.
