We have been having TONS of success on our dove hunts since opening day! All hunts are resulting in either limits or plenty of spent shells.

This last cold front pushed hundreds of birds into our fields. We have been able to manage the pressure and keep good numbers in our fields.

We were a bit skeptical of this weekends hunt because of the rain, but we managed to get a full day of hunting in on Friday, an evening hunt on Saturday, and a hunt this morning. We had 60 hunters scheduled for this weekend, only 14 were brave enough to hunt in the rain. Nearly all 14 took home their allowed twice daily bag limits.

I was unable to get a lot of pictures but I did get a few.

We were hunting 12 different fields last weekend. If you hunted with us for more than one day I am sure you got in plenty of shooting on Saturday or Sunday. The doves were spotty last weekend because of the weather. This last front finally pushed a large amount of birds into the area. We had 160 customers show up and I think I might have heard 3 complaints about the dove shoots. If you had a bad hunt one evening it was maid up for on the next day by moving to a different field.

If anyone else wants to complain just know this.. I am not God, I cant control the weather or how the doves fly. I can only put you in a field and help you to the best of my ability to have a chance to shoot a limit and to have a good time. We work hard during the off season to make these fields into "dove fields". I can literally provide hundreds of references for dove hunts. I am sure all the other outfitters on this forum will agree with me.

I had 25 guys here this weekend. Doves were CRAZY, we got a Northern push and they were coming in in groups of 25-40 birds. Guys hunted Friday afternoon but had to skip Sat morning due to rain but were able to hunt Sat evening and Sunday morning. It never let up, it was just as good Sunday morning as it was Friday evening. Best hunt we've had in a couple of years..

Dove were real good after the front. Not sure on exact numbers yet but in sept our hunters shot around 18,000 birds. I'll know better later.

This sept will be a tough one to beat all in all.

I will back all this.... We hunted with Haiden Opening weekend and shot plenty of birds. This was my first paid for Dove hunt and I feel I got All my money worth... Opening weekend was spotted on the birds, Friday we "COULD" have had limits easily, then Saturday was a little slow because it come a FLASH flood.... them folks in Kingsville area were doing "rain dances" cause they acted like rain is a ritual down there. (I guess it was beause they hadn't seen it in months).. But the weather had a huge part of the birds. Come Sunday... Boy did we have a ball that morning.... Absolutely best bird hunt I've been on.... We had a blast that weekend
Thanks again for the awesome weekend Haiden

No charge just help me put some gas in the boat and we will call it good. I will keep an eye out for the geese, usually around Christmas they start getting thick.
