I have a Dove lease in Frisco, TX near HWY 121 and Coit RD. We have roughly 325 acres spread over 8 pastures and will be leasing to individuals, small & large groups and even corporate groups. We will only be hunting the weekends during September. Opening weekend is $100.00 per day with a two day minimum. We will have lunch on both days as well. We have corn on one pasture, harvested wheat on one, and native sunflowers mixed with wheat and native grasses on others. This is one of the hottest areas in the area. For more information send me an email red99buell@hotmail.com

North East side of Coit and 121. Most of the pastures are right there in that area

Wow...that's not needed. If you don't want to pay it, then drive on out to the public land. $100/day for a dove lease close to or in the metroplex is not a bad price at all.

You need to do some checking, that is not a bad price at all considering the location and lunch provided.

That's a great price Chris. It should fill up fast, just be cautious about the number of guns you allow on at any given time.

Oh...and just ignore the dove lease troll. He has a hard time understanding the concept of paying a little more t be close to home. up

How about you post up a list of leases charging less than $100/day for OPENING WEEKEND WITH LUNCH. There may be a few out there, but I promise you are going to spend more than $50 in fuel to get there. It's easy math and with just a little common sense, it's easy to understand why folks will pay a bit more to hunt locally.

What about the rest of the season, especially weekday hunts? I'm not interested in opening weekend, but I work reasonably close to there and would consider a rest-of-season lease or weekday-only lease.

He can't, he's busy gripping about prices and trying to find a lease.

Guys,
I was out at the pastures this morning just about daybreak and the number of birds I saw was impressive! I drove around in the main pasture a bit and saw more birds on the ground. Everything is filling fast.
