I have some pics I will post of our new Bow/Gun stand. Brush country Tejano and myself were bored and wanted another deer stand project. LOL JK We enjoyed the way our other deer stands came out. We have been thinking of making a Bow stand with a custom paint job on it to. I have not had time to download other pics of start to finish.

Here is link to our first deer stand http://www.texashuntingforum.com/forum/u...bli#Post1721217

I 'm doing this a little backwards. I'll post the stand set up first. It was a lot of hard work setting it up. Looks awesome. IMO.

I saw it set up and knew I had to at least post a couple pics of this stand. Hope you like it. I is our new pride and joy

Good looking stand. Like the mural.

Wife lost her credit card. Noticed the charges were less, so I didn't bother to report it.

What are the dimensions on this? Really like the bow/gun combo.

how high are those bow windows from the floor? And are you able to sit down and get all your shots form them or do you have to stand up?

I will measure them. Set up to shoot sitting. But if target is close to stand We might have to stand up. If we make another one we will make sure all bow shots will be able to get made while sitting. Might even think of putting two bow windows and one gun window. To shoot from

How much did the 6X6 cost you to build?

Awesome set up. Question... Why the wooden braces AND cable? Did you have the cable first and then added the wood or vice versa? I'm asking because I have a similar stand that I need to brace and have been wondering which is best. Thanks!

This is a Brand new stand. At our new lease the wind has knocked down some of our other stands. We decided to add both to keep wind from dropping it. I didn't want to pick it up if it fell over.
