Doh! No wonder you couldn't get Rascal to breed with any others. She had her eye on Rusty the whole time.

Well it could have been worse. She kept thinking Cash was a pretty boy on our last hunt. On the bright side you have two weeks to get Rusty ready for duck hunting.
Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.

Well it could have been worse. She kept thinking Cash was a pretty boy on our last hunt. On the bright side you have two weeks to get Rusty ready for duck hunting. OY. Rub it in!!!! He actually made a beautiful 150 yard blind the other day (downwind in those strong gusts.) Rascal doubles that distance, but at least he'll get past the decoys. Dummy better mark 'em and SIT STEADY!!!!! Boy and I glad I just got him a new hearing aid. BRAT!!!! Some dogs will do anything for a hunt. Cash IS a pretty boy. At least she has good taste - Rusty's a good lookin' dog, too. So she's "CHOOSY"

No joke - he jumped the fence and got in with ZEKE today!!!!! Lesseeee... Lab vs Anatolian... Luckily, Bear is still alive. Let's just say we're having a 'Bad Dog Day' today. Sarge ALSO got in with Zeke... He's a three-legged dog right now. Zeke even got hold of Sarge's cajones. OUCH!!!!!

I have 2 females in heat right now and I am haveing a hard time keeping the stray dogs out of my yard. and my dogs are inside. Went and bought me a daisy last night.
JUST HERE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME I dont understand people that dont duck hunt

I feel your pain...I was working my labs (Max and Millie)this summer. Just a little fetching refresher class. I noticed they were spending too much time with each other and not working as they should. So I called off the session and told them to "get inside". Its the command I use for them to go to their pens. I went into the barn to get dog bisquit (1 minute at most). Max took the command to get inside literally....In one minute they were locked up. CRAP is right.
Does anyone know of someone that would like a full blood AKC Black Labrador I have 5 left from the unexpected litter of 8. Mom and Dad a are both AKC. let me know. They are 12 weeks old and I need to get them gone

lol... That's right, TS, I did plant a duck for Rusty down in the east pasture when you were here. Rusty ran a bee-line for it like he saw me put it there! That's the one where you just said "wow." Yeah, I guess it's time to take the little bugger hunting. Guess I have just gotten sooooo comfortable with Rascal, I kinda wanted to enjoy at least a few hunts where I didn't have to 'think about' the dog. Rascal is reliable & steady - I know what to expect out of her. You know how wired Rusty is! Ah, what the heck... He's got his new 'hearing aid' - I'm sure he'll be steady - if not at first gunfire, then for every one after!  .

Almost had this happen on Saturday. Took my male back to the Trainer on Sat morning. Good thing cause I got back home Saturday afternoon and my female was in heat. I know it usually takes a few days before she would be receptive but you never know.
