You might want to contact Quincy from Salt Fork Outfitters. Their link is right down over there to the left. About 220 miles from FW. $200 a day, and traditionally a good area for quail. The 220 miles or so might be a bit further than you want, but he's got 15,000 acres, I believe.

I would certainly welcome you our way. DEACON'S POINT OUTFITTERS I think you will find the hunting extraordinary and the ranch and lodging equally fine. I will also suggest a friend at Quail Ridge Ranch in Glen Rose. www.quailridgeranch.comI hunted there last year and was impressed. It takes a lot to impress me. Another trusted friend who will surely show you a great hunt and great hospitality in Lake Victor. http://www.uplandbirdhuntinginc.com/Good Luck and most of all have a great time wherever you end up!! Give Ron Smith a call at 817-996-3831, he told me just today that the quail hunting on his place looks great and its only just across the Texas Oklahoma border off of I-35. He also does pheasant, duck and dove hunts, and is quit reasonable.

Contact Rusty Brown at 817-441-7350. He has a 4,000+ plus ranch just 30 minutes West of downtown FW. Rusty is a great guy and we train dogs together.
Tell him Dan Quick sent you.
Don't expect a glamorous hunt just lots of quail, great dog work and even better conversation.
