I would have to see pictures to believe it that is 30 fps higher than what the Matrix is rated for. My experience is once you put a real setup on one you would be good to be turning 290.

Hoyt carbon Matrix is rated at 318 fps. The Maxxis 31 that I just got yesterday is rated at 323. I havent chronoed mine yet but I highly doubt if you are shooting the proper weight arrow that you are even close to 347. Only two bows I know of that can shoot that fast are the PSE X Force and the Mathews Monster. If I get 300 fps out of my Maxxis I will be elated!

Since you both live in Johnson COunty maybe you could steer him somewhere that won't blow smoke up his hind end. Frankly if I found a bow like that I would have it documented and put up for auction. You know how much the real speed freaks would pay for that bow in hunting trim, shooting hunting arrows, turning 347. I bet if you could prove it there are guys out there that would pay 3 grand for it in a heartbeat.

You did have a field point on your arrow correct?
It would take a light light arrow to get 347 out of my omen.
When you make a claim so far out of the ordinary you've got to provide more information. This is equivalent to shooting a 1" group at 1000 not saying it is totally impossible but you've got to provide much more information...

I am going to hang out at the bow shop saturday morning. I shoot flatliners and mine are 368 grains so I will shoot them out of a Matrix through the shop chrono and see what it will do. That bow with 70 lb limbs should bottom out around 73 lbs so it should be the bare minimum for arrow weight. We will just see what the speed is.
