This next part is one of the things I think is key to these plywood blings lasting a long time.
I make exterior plywood windows that overlap the window cutout on all four side.
These keep the elements out, and I even put them on with plexiglass interior windows.
Being able to really seal these things up in the offseason makes a HUGE difference.
The window openings are 9"x24", so the exterior windows are 10.5"x25.5".
That gives you a 3/4" overlap on all four sides.

The door and windows are framed basically the same.

The cutouts for the windows are done "AFTER" all of the framing is done.
This is one of the methods I use that really makes a big difference.
The frame is already there on the inside, so all I have to do is drill a hole and run a flush trim router bit around the opening.
It gives you a super smooth opening that will seal up good when you paint it.
Plus, the corners leave a nice rounded opening.
How many stands have you seen that started rotting around the edges of the windows?...not these!

Interior plexiglass windows and other window pics will be in a later post...on to part 6.
