I forgot to mention how I get the 2x2 material. I buy 12' 2x4s and rip them in half, which is really 1.5" x 1.75"...close enough.
I use 12' because most of the lengths I need are 6' or 4'. Buying 8 or 10 footers would leave lots of waste.


I'm usually working alone, so I use quick clamps to hold the corner pieces in place while I staple them.
You don't have to have them though. It just makes it easier to get any crook out of the boards.
Again, I glue EVERYTHING and use 1/4" crown staples (1.5" long)

The corner 2x2s are simply cut at the same angle as the roof line...about 5 degrees.





Since this is a 4x6 blind, there will be 4 full pieces of plywood and two halves on the long sides.
I put the two ends on first, then one of the long sides. I'll eventually put the two full pieces opposite of each other.
By stapling the plywood to the base first, it is very easy to get the corners square.
