I'm new to the forum and not sure how everything works. But I'll be in Somervell county Tx. Near the town of Glen Rose. This is my second year to spring turkey hunt, no luck last year, but keeping my fingers crossed this year.

The plan was to be hunting outside of Jacksboro. But from the reports I think the fire last week hit the lease. I am not sure what the damage is yet or how it will affect the hunting.

I hope last year I heard the birds but they would never come out of the woods. We see deer constantly but for some reason we never see pigs.

Should be fun!
