I made this feeder light with a rechargeable LED shop light I bought at Lowes.

I bought some red transparent wrapping paper, removed the lens, cut to fit and reinstalled. Works great. Very bright and has worked like a charm. Battery last about twelve hours. $ 20.00 total project cost. Want less light add more layers..

I have also installed on LED flashlights and same outcome.

If your light generates heat at the lens this will not work very long. I have not tried on the 2 mil spot light but can guess it wont last.

If you can't find this paper PM me and I will send a strip for you to try.
