I have a property in Lake Creek, Texas (Delta County) that is pretty untamed. There are a ton of hogs and a pretty good amount of deer on the property. We are looking to day lease some hunts out there for $100 per person per day. We have a couple of feeders that are throwing and several stand locations. No kill fees.

We will need a minimum of 2 hunters per day to book a hunt.

Sorry for the slow reply. The property where the day deer hunts will take place in a 750 acre tract that is in the WRP program. About 500 acres is grown up pasture, DU ponds, and smaller water holes. There are a lot of deer and hogs in the woods. There are a couple of feeders that have be throwing for a couple of months. They are getting hit pretty hard but I believe it is mostly hogs hitting them. There are a couple of natural bottle necks along the river and creek bottoms that would make a great place for trying to shoot a deer. This property has not been hunted yet this season. We got the place with intentions on duck hunting it and there is not much water and no ducks on it to speak of. We have a couple of stands in place for gun hunting and would be more than happy to hang some bow stands.

I have seen several deer out there just riding around and did see one really nice 10 point in velvet a couple of months ago. Hogs are pretty thick.

Delta county is an AR county with doe days the week of Thanksgiving.

All days available, or are you booked up on weekends? Do you have to hunt from tree stands, or is being on the ground okay? (sitting and waiting, et cetera).

And, just to clarify, it would be only $100 bucks for the day, no fees other than that, even if you kill? Tips or anything? Sorry, just seems like a low price compared to all the leases I see. I'm from the mountain west, so Texas hunting on leases is new to me.

Sorry, could you also clarify the antler restrictions for me? (moved to Texas recently). And by "doe days" the week of thanksgiving, does that mean that you can only shoot does the whole week of Thanksgiving, even the weekend?

Can you send me the same info? I am especially interested in hogs. How thick? Can you get me the roads that enclose the property so I can look at an arial view of the land?

PM sent Fish.

I will add that although we do not charge any kill fees for any animals we will be charging a $500 fine for any buck that is taken that does not fall within the states antler restrictions. The Game Warden also frequents that area pretty regular.
