Caution in dealing with Longshank -- you may get strung out with a deal breaker. Two weeks ago he PM'd to by a Kimber I had listed. After a second email confirmation (which I've kept) he has refused to answer PMs and was a no show the day he committed to meet and make the exchange. Don't know if he's run into hard times (like most of us have) or what, but there's no excuse for leaving a THFer hanging on a deadbeat deal. After two weeks of silence (even though he has been on line) I sold the Kimber to another THFer who took delivery today (he asked not to be listed as he didn't want to be associated with Longshank's failure or later blamed for buying the gun should Longshank later claim "first dibs" or some other nonsense). First time I've felt the need to post a negative comment...

Brownwood can be added to the list, I recently delt with him over buying some replacement parts for the old SKS and he always responded quickly and accurately, as well as shipped promptly and was a joy to deal with.
