Some buddies and I are looking to go on a guided Pheasant hunt. It doesn't have to be in Texas. But we would like to have lodging and meals. Anybody have any recommendations?

Pheasant Ridge in the OK Panhandle. Chris is the best guy around and the prices are good too.

Last season I hunted with Bad River Bucks and Birds near Draper, SD. They run a top notch operation. Hunting is excellent, food is delicious, lodging is exceptional, and the guides and dogs give it 110%! I also liked that after the morning hunts (we limited out every morning), we would have lunch and then go hunt sharptailed grouse and prairie chickens for the afternoon. Their website is www.badriverhunts.com.

This was my first ever pheasant hunt. I oculd not believe the number of birds that were on their property. I plan to go back out there in 2011 for a pheasant/deer combo hunt.

There is a new site out there that is currently looking for more and more outfitters and private landowners. The site is called www.bidyourhunt.com. Right now there is a very affordable guided pheasant and unguided pheasant unt on the site. These hunts are both located in South Dakota. www.bidyourhunt.com - check them out and keep an eye out for more hunts because they will be coming in!

I have a new online hunting auction site, www.bidyourhunt.com. It is catered only to hunting so everyone on the site is on there for a reason! I thought this may interest you and all other landowners and outfitters as it is a great way to get your name out there and sell hunts! It is FREE to register and list your land. I suggest you go online and check it out at bidyourhunt.com. You don't have anything to lose!
