Really? How do you shoot teal in 100 plus degree temperature?
It doesnt feel like duck hunting to me until late December and January... Like I did last year. Just stayed out in the water. We where done in 17 minutes last year 4 guys and one tired dog. Took a little longer the next day

the thing about baiting is, even a rookie hunter could have a 170 bird season if they bait holes

He didnt get enough coffee and snuff during the hunt. I have never had any traces of excrement in me after LST.

Never hunted them in Texas....but if I can see some I may give it a try.
Back in the day in the bayou country they were fairly populated by the time the season rolled around......honestly never hunted them in teal season there either. I remember family and friends hunting them and coming home with more woodies than teal. I wouldn't even think about doing that. I never heard of anyone getting caught by the GW, but I AIN'T THAT LUCKY!!!

Go look after the full moon this month. There should be a few around then. After that look for them after a front passes.
