125 yards to the feeder and about 250 to the opposite treeline, which is equally likely to produce a deer on my place.

Man, 12ft? That is only 3 yards away. You could just hold the arrow and poke the deer with it from there. Hopefully you meant 12yards adn 20 yards.

My feeders range from 65-75 yards. I do have food plots that get out to around 250 yards.

Mine is set at 75 yards. This was my sisters first year to hunt in about 10 - 15 years so she needed an easy shot. She shot two bucks this year. One shot she pulled about a foot and the other one she shot in the spine. The summer she is working on her shooting skills.

Yeah, I got a telescope and can see Mars.... seeing and hitting at 5-6c is difficult, good luck. Too far for me anymore on a game animal.

125 yards. This year I'm shortening it to about 8o yards.

No feeders or rifles for me when it comes to deer. Just a few hang-on stands in oak trees. Catch em traveling on a trail, checking a scrape, or call em in. If I can't do it with a bow, I don't do it at all.

I actually just moved mine. 1/2 mile on one, 3/4 mile on the other. Don't worry, I can shoot a deer in the eye at 2 miles, so these are skillet shots. rifle roflmao

About 14 set-ups on 3 sections with ranges from 150 to 200 for rifle 20 to 40 for bow. No feeders!

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.
