Does anybody have or know someone who has a Llewellin that they would be willing to stud out. I have a family member that has a Llewellin that is going into heat and they would like to breed her. The male needs to be AKC registered, the female is as well. ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE HELPFUL!

I do not know Keith, but Keith Hickam at Bootleather kennels would probably be a good person to talk to. www.bootleatherllew.com .

I just met these people at a field trial last weekend. They had a nice setter in the trial, I don't much about them other than that. http://huntmasterkennels.com/default.aspx

They are in Godly, just south west of Fort Worth.

They actually got their dog from Keith, we're thinking about going tomorrow and buying another one from him (male) and breeding them.

I do not have any Llewellin blood, but if something falls through and you can't find a Llewellin stud to buy or use, I do have some really nice English Setter males available. The pups of course would still be English Setters. www.oksetters.com

They ended up getting a male from a guy associated with Keith, some guy thats running for US Congressman. I will post pics of both dogs soon. They're trying to breed them so I will post when a upcoming litter will be available. I can't wait to hunt with both of these dogs next year though.
