He started off with the flu, then had mono for two months, and now has been diagnosed and has had surgery for some type of major infection in his intestinal tract. He is expected to be out of action until the second half of 2010 at least. He has been really messed up and they couldnt figure out what was wrong with him for a long time.
UFC will be holding a match for an interim belt in the mean time.

Last report I heard was diverticulitis and it was real serious. Thats some bad stuff, but that couldn't cause someone to quit fighting..  I think the years of roids have caught up with him..
