Identifying artifacts is both fun and frustrating at times. The same point may be called by different names depending on what part of the Country it was found. Many points evolved into another point and if you catch a piece in the middle of the evolution, what the heck is it (a perfect example is the Dalton Hemphill)? And then there's the "individual" denominator. How many knappers have started out working to make one style of point, run into a few issues, and changed horses in the middle of the stream to salvage the piece? Had I been alive a few thousand years ago, anybody that found my points would be scratching their heads.
So...here are 3 pieces that I can issue a COO (Certificate of Origin) on.
Top is an Obsidian blade in a Cholla handle.
Center is a Brazilian Agate blde in a Cholla handle.
Bottom is a Fort Hood Flint blade in a Marble handle.
