Here's a little BS email I just received...

What a nice photoshop job... Sorry if this is a repost

========

Cute little Texas Pig that was killed in the town of Cut-N-Shoot, TX. We call them Piney Wood Rooters.

Over 1,800 lb. this wild boar was shot and killed in Conroe, Texas near the county airport, east of I-45 and near the community of Cut and Shoot. Killed by a medical radiology worker.

What would you do if this beast was coming at you? Would you run for dear life? Climb a tree, or simply get run over????

Yep......only in Texas !

We were taught to stand still because their eye sight is poor.

By standing still they probably would not see you and walk right on by. And No, you can't out run them!!

Look at how tall the grass and weeds are. How fast do you think you would be running thru that?

Wow-- I have done some reading re: these giant wild boars in the South. I have a few friends that hunt wild hogs-- they have gotten some pretty large ones but of course nothing like this little fellow. The thought as to why these wild boars are getting so large?? one theory is that many years ago some ole Southern aristocrats had some Russian wild boars shipped over here and turned loose so that they could hunt them--and that these Russian wild boars have then mixed with the Southern US wild hogs and produced these giants...this one is some specimen huh?

And this silly theory about standing still and they will walk on by-- who cares if they have poor eyesight-?? because of their tremendous sense of smell--- they will know exactly where you are-- and of course they would be able to detect the trembling of the earth (from your frightened shaking)-- I much rather they smell the "heel dust" that I would be choking them with (smile)

its almost impossible for a wild hog to get this big even if its mixed with russian boar. The hog does look real so great job on photoshop.

It's real, but from Russia or Gerogia (not the state), look at the guides and the vehicle. Whats funny is, that hunter looks like Alan Alda.

Its not even photoshopped. Its a simple camera trick by putting the boar closer to the camera and the guy ten feet behind, making it seem monstrous. Thats why many deer hunters hold their deer heads with arms straight out, closer to the camera, to make it look bigger.

just a camera trick, pretty easy to do. The hog is big but not THAT big. No such thing as a wild hog that's over 500 lbs, and one that big was probably pen raised and escaped.
