Being a city boy, I am not too keen on eating possum like you country boys so what should I do with him?

-Trash can bath?
-Givem about 50 BB's or whatever it takes?
-Drive 20 miles and let em go?
-Release in neighbors house?
-Make him a pet?

Bring him over here and release him in MY neighbors house. I would find that quite amusing and entertaining.

Heard the tail tastes good fried. rofl

Man, this is the second one I caught in 3 days. First one ran into my garage when I opened the door! WTH? I popped it a few times and then kicked it out. Guess it went and died in my neighbors bushes. I saw one a couple weeks ago walking on the powerline behind my house! These suckers are everywhere. Got one about a month ago in a rat trap!

Catch him (they aint hard to catch) and relocate him. We relocate a couple a year from our place. They are actually good critters to have around and dont carry rabies. I hace heard they make good pets too.

I'll take fried deer tenderloin with mashed taters, gravy and rolls (what I'm eating tonight) any day over a nasty possum.

Problem is they get into people walls and crawl spaces and die. Smells like crap for a week. Our area is all pier & beam.

This guy is in my live trap. Hot dog bun with peanut butter did the trick. Heck, you don't even have to bait em. Just put the trap along a fence and they'll run right into it. Usually find out when you catch the stench.

if you can get close enough to him a machete should get the job done. Works well if they don't want to leave a garage or carport.

Bathe him in Tobasco for about two days, then throw him whole on your smoker for another two days. Then box him up and ship him to me so I can take him to Thanksgiving. I can then tell my whiny lib uncle (by marriage of course) that it's a new healthy, green, PETA-approved, earth-friendly turkey substitute that I brought just for him. I can then bet with my other relatives as to how many bites he can take before he throws up his Hush Puppies. And when he does puke (and he will), I can ridicule him about how Al Gore would be so disappointed upon seeing such a display.... roflmao

Tie a string to his tail and hang him from a tree branch. Get the kids and their t-ball bats. Pinata party!

In all seriousness my grandpa ate possum many times when he was a kid. They were extremely poor and his mom cooked them like roast. He said it seemed good as a kid but he would never eat it now.

Only reason I wouldn't eat one is because I saw one come crawlin out of a dead cows butt. So I shot it and put it out of it's misery.

My cousin wont eat wild hogs for the same reason as he had a dead cow and came up on a pack of porkers eating the cows decaying carcass.

Ya I've seen hogs clean up a deer carcass before! Nasty fat suckers! Hogs will eat a human carcass too. Philip Caputo mentions that in his book "A Rumor of War" about seeing wild pigs eating the charred corpses of VC that were napalmed.

Catch it and put a collar with a bell on it around it's neck and take it to the Vet and tell them your Kitty's loseing all the hair on it's tail. that would be a hit on U-Tube.

you could catch that possum then take him to someones house that you don't like, pump him full of grease with a grease gun and turn him loose in their house. You need to be quick though, cause it gets messy real quick. banana

Personally, I would have just relocated him. Remember, we have invaded HIS territory, but thats just me.
