I'm looking for an outdoors rifle range (rifle, pistol, & black powder) close to Carrollton, Tx. I just MISS the smell of gun powder in the morning!!! Also, where would be the closest public land to my area?? Moved here from Missouri, and starting to miss my time in the woods and on the water!!!

Closest to you is Elm Fork just off of Luna south of 635 and north of NW Hwy. www.elmfork.com

There is also a gun range in Garland at the end of 190. I don't know the exact address or website but it is on Pleasant Valley between Rowlett Rd and Sachse Rd.

There are some private clubs around...maybe someone will come through with something else but those are the two that I am aware of that are close to Carrollton.
