My first Buck with a bow

I shot him this evening about 5:00. Rage got him, after I couldn't find the doe I shot 3 weeks ago, this one ran about 25 yards and piled up in plain sight. There is a bigger one running out there , maybe the wife will get him, I guess I better get her in a stand.

I'll tell ya what, I have shot lots bigger deer than this but I have never been as excited as I was watching this buck come into range, there is something about the sound when that arrow hits home and the adrenaline rush afterwards it is just a huge thrill.

Thanks everyone, 30-06 I hope you can do it quicker than I did, it took me 24 years, now the first 10 years we only hunted doe during bow season, and I took several, but in all that time I only had one 8 pointer come into range and I was really tempted but was not allowed.

Congrats! I got my first bow kill this year also and it was only a doe but the most exciting deer kill I have ever had.
