which one would fly better. i fixing to buy some new Easton arrows and was wondering which to get. i am using a Octane Hostage rest so the fletching are never touched by anything. ive heard the 4 inch vane stabilize your broadheads better. whats yalls opinion on this.

I shoot Blazers, with no problems.. I make shots out to 40 yards, and see no problems with them.. However, physics would tell you that the longer vanes should stabilize the flight better. Especially at greater distances.. But that stabilization will come at a cost.. Perhaps speed??
Beats me.. I just know that I like the Blazers.

Try them both and see which works better for you. At close ranges I dont think you will even ntice the difference providing your bow is tuned properly. You wount notice much till you git out past 40 yards.

I shoot about 6 different kinds of vanes, all with different applications out of different bows and have success with all of them.

I perfer the 4 inchers they might not be as fast as the blazers but they are more accurate at longer distances

I agree the 4in vanes help stabilize, but the blazers helped me pick up speed. At shots 35yrds or less, I have had no problem witht the blazers. And actually get better penetration.

I have identical arrows (weight/lenth, etc), some with blazers and some with 4" vanes. They all fly okay, but it seems I have tighter groups with the blazers (it may just be a confidence factor with them, for me). I practice out to 50 yards, if that matters.

Blazers, I shoot mine out to 50 yards, I guess that is pretty stable.

Good one need to shoot both and see what works for your bow. Ask the pro shop where you get your arrows to let you shoot both

I shot a nice 8 point in Missouri the other day @ 35 yards with Thunderhead 100s (fixed blade heads) using Blazers. The arrow flew like a dart. My longest bow kill ever and arrow flight was perfect.

I just bought blazers after 20 years of shooting 4 inchers. I'm sold, they bury an inch or two deeper in my target and the toughness of the fletchings are much better as well.
