You need to figure what rifle calibers you have for each chambering. Each rifle that you have should have the Caliber stamped on the side of the barrel near the action.

Are these rifles store bought or custom made???

Have the rifles been re-barreled at some point???

More info please

Re-barreled, don't know what you mean? Nothing has changed on the rifle since I bought it. It is store bought.

Hmmm I think you need to read up a bit before getting into reloading.

To be safe if I were you, I would purchase a Hornady reloading manual and read the front sections closely before going any further. If you have a freind that already is a seasoned re-loader you could get advise and detailed explanatations from him. As for what dies you need, each different chambering will require its own dies. It is easy to do, just dont experiment outside the data in the manuals.

I am a seasoned hunter. I know the calibers of the rifles I want to start with.

What type of ammo would you buy at a store? That ought to tell you what dies to buy. If you have store bought rifles, then you do NOT have an Ackley Improved caliber. Those are only available as a custom built rifle. I'm going to guess you have a 308 Winchester, not a 308 Marlin Express or a 308 Norma Magnum.

But along with everyone else, I would highly recommend that you buy a quality reloading manual and read every single page. It has nothing to do with pride or you being a competent shooter- you're dealing with stuff that can hurt you if you don't know what you are doing. I would also recommend finding someone in your area who reloads and see if they would show you the ropes.

Based solely on my interpretation of the OP..... you have no business reloading anything, and are probably borderline dangerous with a firearm, since you don't know what calibers you have. hammer
Please be more specific on the question, so that we can help you out.
