Anyone ever tried a home made turkey call made from a pill jar or 35mm film container? I saw it on a show today and was wondering if anyone has tried one. I think the guy that mentioned it was named Roscoe Reames, not too sure though.

It is called a tube call, in my opinion one of the harder turkey calls to master. You should be able to Google "how to make a turkey tube call" and find various sites that explain how to make them.

whats up JC Did they show how they go together? I found some sites that show how to make one. I'ts basically a pill jar, a piece of latex, and a rubber band. I decided to try and make one and it worked pretty good. after i made it i looked on youtube to see how it should sound and it should be alotta fun practicing.

Hey dogcatcher, U ever make any like what he's talking about? It has been a couple of years since I made a tube call. I have not had much demand for them.

Do you have a website where i can see your calls? I don't have a website, when I make a call I post them for sale in the classifieds on here. The others calls are made as special orders, and if it it is a really fancy call I sometimes post ot on the photo section

They are one of my originals from years ago. After I posted photos on some of the callmaker sites and they found out how good they sound a few others started to copy the design. Best sounding deer grunts are the all wood versions.
