I've been thinking about getting a bow, but I don't know anything about them and don't want to spend a lot of cash for something I don't know if I'll even like.

I figure, someone has to be left handed and near Corsicana that would be willing to go pop off a few rounds and bring their bow along so I could see if it's something I'd be interested in learning more about, may even be able to get a hog while we're out there.

go to gander mtn. most have a range, and they should let you try it. DO NOT DRY FIRE it, or you will have a new bow.

I shoot a left handed Mathews and my hunting property is in Freestone County.
I pass right through Corsicana on my way to the lease and a lot of times I stop at Gander Mtn. on my way.
I would be glad to let you shoot my bow if you want to meet me at Gander Mtn.
Bad news is that I will not be going this weekend, but most likely the following weekend I will be there.
If you are willing to wait til then maybe we can work something out.

I will be passing through Corsicana early Friday trying to make it to Freestone in time for the afternoon hunt.
