I specifically dont like it compared to a crisp trigger withouth the glock safety.

I will agree with that! I have shot the Accutrigger and it is a very nice trigger! If I were to buy another Savage (and I wont) it would be one with the Accutrigger!

I have the accutrigger on my Savage 93 and am really impressed with it. Was not sure what the hype was as both my 7mm were pre accutrigger, would not buy another without it now.

I don't own one.. I tend to be a Browning or Remington fella'.

Every Savage I have is a tack driver and with the exception of my Model 99 they all have the accutrigger.

Wouldn't buy anything else. Love my 7mm-08 Savage Sierra. Got a 25-06 111 too. 7mm Mag and .243 on the wish list. With their black composite stocks I never worry about brush and thorns. Tack drivers out of the box!

Bought a savage BAS .308 Best investment ever!

A buddy of mine's grandpa bought him a savage .300 win when we were in high school, and I watched him waste a box of shells trying find the paper when he was sighting it in. I took the gun from him and figured out what was wrong. When you held the action tight with one hand, you could grab the barrel and literally wiggle it up and down. We are lucky we didn't blow the barrel up.

By saying the accutrigger is "creepy" and not providing any info to support your statement only leads me to believe that you don't know the definition of "creep" with regards to triggers.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion about everything. So in your opinion you don't like the accutrigger. Fair enough, there are many other that share your same opinion. For me, I love it, and if I could install it on All of my rifles I would.

Great triggers. They sell themselves... Might take a little time to get used to it, but you wouldn 't go back... the accutrigger is the king.

i got 2 savages, also have some winchesters and remmys, but the savages are what i always carry to the blind

We have several savages my 2 sons and my self. All we ever do is
get the trigger adjusted no accu triggers here. Al older guns,
we have had them awhile they are all acurate. They kill deer well.

Can't beat the logic of a hard headed opinion.

I'll say this: the out-of-the-box accutrigger on my model 12 is at least as crisp as any 1911.

I bought the Savage 116FHSAK in .30-06 and I am extremely pleased with the accuracy and the trigger.

However I did have trouble mounting my Nikon Monarch because the receiver is so long. I had to use two extended rings just to make it work. Also the finishing on the rifle left a bit to be desired. The rifle had sharp edges all over it and I kept using a file and emery cloth (Its stainless steel) to remove the sharp edges so I wouldn't harm myself. I also managed to jam the rifle while cycling a new round because the bolt was hanging on a 90 degree angle in the receiver when I worked it while shooting at a coyote. I attacked it with the file on my Leatherman so it is not an issue anymore. The last problem with the rifle is when I was sighting it in it would not group decently. I checked the scope and the mounts and they were okay and I found the problem to be the stock was totally loose. The stock bolts to the receiver seemed to be hand tight. Once I got those tightened down and everything else done it is a real shooter.

I plan on buying a couple more for my daughters in .243 or 7-08 when they are ready.

I have a Savage .243 package. Shot accurate right out of the box. Only problem I've had was the strap on it. It came with a nice Leopold Scope. I would definitely recommend Savage and in my opinion they aren't ugly
