I couldn’t find any Norma 217 or Woodleigh bullets which are likely the components with which the rifle was originally regulated, so I’m working with Hornady bullets and Staball HD. H1000 was supposed to work, but it didn’t play quite right with the Hornady bullets.

We want what we want...but that's not 150 fps that I think I'd argue about!

And see? I'd heard wonderful things about H1000 in those big cases but here's a case where the combo wasn't quite right with the bullets at hand! Folks that think doubles don't have a mind of their own haven't fooled with them much!

VX6HD 3-18x44, NF rings jpfrog 4 hours ago
Firedot Duplex, MOA dials. Excellent condition. Taken on one hunt, otherwise lived in the safe or saw use at the range from a bench. I moved the rifle along last year and don't have a home for this one any longer, which is the reason for the sale.

My 43yr old eyes can't see any noticeable blemishes- I typically take above average care of my gear. Comes with the NF rings it is mounted in, so I haven't removed them. I also have never seen a scope come out of a set of rings without at least a mark or two where the rings were, but if that's something you think might affect your hunt, this might not be the one for you. cool

Box, Allen key, covers, throw lever (in box, not installed), and unused cds cert included.

$1250 FTF in the north Dallas/Plano area.

Rangers up 2-1 in middle of 4th after back to back solo shots in 3rd by Adolis and Carter, first back to back HRs for Rangers this year. Thank goodness Adolis is carrying the team so far hitting .318 with 7 HRs and 23 RBI.

For money you are willing to lock up for longer a multi year fixed annuity is paying in the 6% range and that rate is guaranteed either 3 or 5 years (your choice) and all of the earnings are tax deferred until you withdraw it. No fees other than a penalty if you withdraw more than 10% in a single year.

I have placed some of my long term money into several 5 year fixed annuities at 6%.

Link please to this fixed annuity paying in the 6% range.

I have an Atlantic Coast fixed annuity

Good grief man, couldn't you find a weaker rated insurance company. You might as well have put your funds in Micky Mouse Life Insurance Company of Argentina.

Rating (Rating Category):
Affiliation Code:
B++ u (Good)
g (Group)
Outlook (or Implication): Negative
Action: Under Review
Effective Date: February 23, 2024
Initial Rating Date: June 30, 1976

Annuities have their place. However, I wouldn't put a dime in anything but the strongest like Northwestern Mutual, New York Life, etc.

Sir I do not need you preaching to me and your smart [censored] remarks - I bought my annuity two years ago and AC was well rated. The very recent downgrade in their rating is news to me that just came out in the last two months - and by the way Texas has a guarantee fund for up to $250.000 to protect consumers. My post did not tell others to buy their annuities - I simply stated that I had one of their annuities - chill out

Marinade of pear puree, honey, soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, and garlic. Then braised for a few hours in the marinade. Chopped up about a cup of kimchi and stir fried, added some rice, kimchi juice, and gochujang and fried up. Absolutely delicious.

There was a ride at the State Fair of Texas where you went forward into a loop, and then it would reverse and you would go backwards into it. I was, probably, in my late 30's, but I thought I was going to have a major health episode. roflmao
