The main reason that acrylic calls are more expensive is that they are harder to make, takes more time, harder on the tools, more difficult to polish. I've been making my own calls for the last 6 years. I personally use an acrylic insert in my hunt

I did glass woork for 8 years and sure could do the job for you but distance will keep me from helping you out. The insulated windows will have to be ordered if they were single pane you could easily do it yourself. Wish i could help.

I did that a long time back with them and have never used them again. They ruined a cape off a good buck and I had to pay the taxidermist more to replace it. They also F__up the order and went into the freezer and grab some meat and gave it to me.

So. it looks like the more research I do, the more I change my mind. Really wanting something with some knockdown power at a long distance, so kind of looking at the 7 mag or a 300 mag. Just dont want something so powerful that the recoil makes it
